Educational outreach is a priority for us
We believe in encouraging the conversation in our community so that people freely express their goals and wishes for their life’s end and know these wishes will be respected. We engage community partners to enhance our effectiveness in public education, as we give people with life-limiting conditions the tools they need to navigate the health care system and the demands of caregiving.
We are committed to elevating the practice of end-of-life care in our community and donate hundreds of hours of clinical education to nursing, medical and allied health students.
And we continue to share our model through The Omega Home Network, a national membership organization that promotes the development and expansion of community homes for dying people. Through information sharing, consultation and educational offerings, we provide direct assistance to those developing and operating homes in their communities.
