Ignite Compassion
Ignite Compassion is an inspiring community event that brings real stories of caregiving, grief and end-of-life experiences into a shared, welcoming space. Through intimate, heartfelt narratives, six community storytellers will share moments that reveal the tender, complicated and deeply human sides of supporting someone at the end of life. Their stories reflect the emotional landscape of loss and love, and the often unseen labor of navigating care within families, communities and systems.
Each story will be paired with a local organization offering a practical resource, creating a powerful blend of lived experience and real-world support. In partnership with OKSO, the evening is designed to spark understanding, deepen connection and nurture the compassion we cultivate when we come together.
Together, we’ll illuminate the ways our community can show up for one another - and why no one should have to walk these moments alone.
