Clarehouse Blood Drive

We recently received a referral for a very ill cancer patient whose treatment was impacted by the nationwide blood shortage. Despite persistently low hemoglobin levels, he was limited to two units of blood for transfusion. In July, the American Red Cross noted a concerning trend – blood donations were being sent to hospitals faster than they were coming in. The Red Cross collected about 50,000 fewer blood donations than needed in the preceding two months.

 Because of stories like this one, Clarehouse is sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive. We support and encourage you to take time to give blood; a simple way to make a difference in someone's life.
